It's a great shame, but I like everyone else, want what I pay for.I was a little disappointed with this company, but luckily I only paid for one month's worth of usage instead of the year that I first intended to. I will instead be spending a great deal more money and buying the latest Dragon Software (probably) instead. I will not be buying the annual version now, whatever happens, nor any other version come to that. Especially when it's their money being used up. It is no longer 1970 or 80, it is 2016 and people want replies to problems yesterday. So the bottom line is, their product is okay, the price is middle of the road, but their after sales service is, I'm sorry to say, atrocious. So, without using one word of this software, the cost to me has gone from £0.61p per day for the month to £0.81p per day, and that is if I get it sorted by this weekend. So I sent another email telling them I followed their instructions and now it doesn't recognise me. And that only works on a limited weekly time basis. All I have now is the free version that does not include the speech-to-voice that I've paid for. (Unquote) Am I the only one who can see a major problem with this statement! Why have they stilI got an old version laying around? Anyway, I followed their instructions and now I'm back to square one because sadly it wasn't successful. It sounds like a common bug we had with our previous version of Ginger, Please uninstall your current Ginger software and follow these instructions to download and install our latest version. (Excluding weekends of course) So, I had a problem, emailed them about it, three or four days later, after I'd sent a second email telling them that this service was very bad, they came back to me almost instantly saying, (Quote) I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing some issues with the Ginger software. This is 2016 and still they are working to a two to three days timetable to get back to people. Now while the actual speech-to-text is in my opinion as good as anyone else's in the same price range (you get what you pay for, and the really expensive stuff is superb) It's the after sales service I'm peeved with. I was a little disappointed with this company, but luckily I only paid for one month's worth of usage instead of the year that I first intended to.
